meet the founders, Laura & Stacey
Females Updated was founded by Laura and Stacey, two friends who are passionate about connecting local businesses with the community. Their shared frustration of missing out on local events and discovering things too late inspired them to create a platform that makes it easier for women to stay informed and support local businesses.
Laura, a dedicated mum and tennis coach, helps run multiple tennis clubs in Sheffield. With her deep roots in the local community and a passion for staying active, she understands the importance of supporting local businesses and making the most of what the area has to offer.
Stacey, a digital marketing expert, specialises in helping businesses grow through data-driven strategies and creative campaigns. She’s committed to creating opportunities for local brands to connect with their target audience.
Together, Stacey and Laura are building Females Updated as a platform that bridges the gap between small businesses and the women eager to discover and support them.
